Felicity Curtain

I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian – so no surprises, am passionate about all things food and health related.

With additional qualifications in Communications, my skills lie in translating complex ideas in an easily digestible form. Keeping my finger on the pulse of what’s trending in nutrition is what I’m all about, and I strive to break through the nonsense and deliver the facts around health eating.

My philosophy is simple: food is so much more than nutrients – it’s also a source of joy, comfort, and the centre of social occasions.  I aim to showcase the joy of food, while encouraging healthy choices to nourish our bodies, and keep us feeling good in the longterm.

I’ve worked in a range of settings, including private practice, public health, and media and communications.

In the know, well-researched, and always slightly sceptical, get in touch with me to find out how we can work together!

Qualifications and memberships:

  • Bachelor of Food Science & Nutrition, Deakin University
  • Master of Dietetic Practice, La Trobe University
  • Graduate Certificate in Communications, Deakin University
  • Accredited Practising Dietitian, Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Media Training, Red River Strategic Communications

  4. Hello Felicity, I have been reading some very interesting things on your blog. My husband John and I are heading up to Port Douglas next week and would like to try that amazing yogurt. Where do we get it, I am having a seniors moment and must have missed the info – giggle! giggle! Can’t wait to leave chilly Melbourne behind. Great pics here Felicity, especially of those beautiful puppies. Thanks again.
